INQUIRIES IN STRATEGIC DESIGN
[INSD]e* — Inquiries in Strategic Design is a multi-disciplinary design practice that begins with the question before it arrives at the form.
The work is in understanding the forces that shape a problem, the decisions that define it, and the relationships it needs to hold together.
Design is not applied after the strategy. Design is the strategy.
The practice operates through seven domains of inquiry: Architecture is one of them. So is visualisation. So is research. So is art curation.
A project might need a building, a brand, a spatial strategy, or a research brief. Often it needs several at once. The domains exist so that nothing is forced into a single discipline's frame.
[INSD]e* works collaboratively with researchers, designers from different fields, engineers and technical specialists, so that no problem is beyond scope and every solution can be strategically designed.
